We have 202 children in the program at the two sites, Chak Jalal Din, Rawalpindi and Kadlathia, Sheikhupura. Of these, 120 children attend reputable schools and the remaining being prepped to attend school in the next two years. Children are excited as they receive their Open Hands Global t-shirts and a pair of jeans.
Update on our first students
Daud Younas, one of our first batch students, passed the first step of his matriculation exam in August. This is a big achievement for him and the whole team and he is diligently preparing for the second part in a few months. He celebrated his success with a pizza party with his friends. He is also being awarded a keyboard!
