Saima Dean serves as the Secretary and Treasurer for Open Hands Global Org, Canada. She is an Oncology Clinical Researcher at a renowned hospital in Toronto. She is a positive influencer and her passion to help and make a difference in the lives of others is contagious by guiding and teaching them.

Rukhsana Young serves as a Director with the organization. She has worked in the health sector as a registered nurse for more than twenty years. She is a proud mom of 2 daughters and grand mom of Olivia. She operates with her heart and cares deeply about the poor and suffering children and communities in Pakistan.

Alexia Dean
Alexia is a teacher by profession and serves with Open Hands Global Canada as our Communications lead. She volunteers her Saturday mornings to bring written and verbal English skills to the children of Chak Jalal Din. She spends her time and talent to prepare individualized educational plans based on childrens needs and then meets with them on whatsap.

Sarah is a social worker and shares the vision of Open Hands Global. She is very concerned about the plight of the children in the marginalized communities of Pakistan. Sarah has a willingness to support these marginalized youth and values education as a tool to enhance and promote capacity amongst the students through the English Class initiative.

Kamini is a wife & mother. She is blessed with seven grandchildren. With a Masters degree in English Literature she has had a rewarding career teaching English for 35 years including serving in roles as Head of the English Department, Academic Policy Maker and Teachers’ Mentor. She loves people but recharges in moments of solitude; quiet times of reflection and meditation.
